January 16, 2013: A whole big bunch of nothing

I have to be honest, when I am talking Walt Disney World and food I automatically think of EPCOT. No matter what kind of food you’re looking for there is somewhere in EPCOT that had the taste that hits the spot. Whether you’re looking for a counter service or table service, breakfast or dinner, an appetizer or a dessert, you can find it all.
Today is International Hot and Spicy Food Day. Perhaps you love that little black pepper in Chinese food (particularly Kung Po Chicken) that I ate in one bite and ended my meal or jalapenos and habaneros with your Mexican food. You don’t have to choose, the Mexico pavilion and the China pavilion both have quick service options that allow you to get your fix in a serving size that will satisfy an individual or serve as a nice snack for two or more. If you go will you take me too?

This is also National Nothing Day. After being a commando and almost killing my family at Walt Disney World, I adopted the NBD philosophy (look it up in an earlier blog). Now I understand the appeal of taking time at WDW to do nothing. Nothing. Literally nothing. You can sit and do nothing, you can soak and do nothing, and you can do nothing and do nothing. In fact, during our next trip I am planning two more days at WDW than days in the park so we will have two break days in our trip. So take a little time and do nothing.

Remember, your best excuse is always: waiting for your dreams to come true.
