As I write this it is 3:23 AM. I am exhausted but we had a great night at
Winter Jam. Tonight was the first night of the Winter Jam tour and it was a
wonderful show as always. I believe this is the 17th consecutive
year for the contemporary Christian tour. I will give more details in tomorrow’s
blog but tonight a quick note and then off to bed.
What connection is there between Winter Jam and Walt Disney World?
Premier Productions, the company behind Winter Jam also does cruises, tours and
Camp Electric. I was a chaperone at Camp Electric the first three years of its
existence at Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, TN. Camp Electric is a
Christian music camp for teenagers and I learned what wonderful people and good
businessmen the people at Premier are and so it makes sense that they have a
Disney connection. This July / August they will be hosting a Christian music
vacation at the Swan and Dolphin at Walt Disney World (I am not sponsored by or compensated for this mention, they're just good people).

Today is National Bird Day. Who doesn’t like a good bird? I love a
chicken, properly prepared… sorry. Today is a day to celebrate our fine-feathered
friends, our LIVING, fine-feathered friends. Any Disney fan should have at
least one fine- feathered hero, Donald Duck. So go to WDW, look up Donald (we
love his breakfast at the Animal Kingdom or the Three Caballeros in the Mexico
pavilion) and I promise not the use the phrase “fine-feathered” again (today).
Remember, your best excuse is always: waiting for your dreams to come
true.
