Today is National Lazy Mom’s Day, a day
dedicated to mom doing… nothing. In my mind, this is much like Mother’s Day.
Just give mom a break. A Disney Cruise would be best, a cruise is the only
vacation I have ever taken that relieved me of all responsibility and offered
total relaxation. Walt Disney World with the dining plan is probably the next
best, everything taken care of up front, no problems, no worry. Find your moment
of total relaxation and take mom along.
Joanne Worley was born on this day in 1937 in
Lowell, Indiana. When I was a kid I loved Rowan
& Martin’s Laugh-In and Worley was one of the biggest, and certainly
loudest, personalities on the show. Worley also has a full resume’ of Disney
work including: The Shaggy D.A., The
Mouseketeers at Walt Disney World, Kim Possible: The Secret Files, A Goofy
Movie and Beauty and the Beast. Go
to Hollywood Studios, enjoy the Beauty and the Beast show and remember, the
wardrobe is Joanne.
