Today is International
Dot Day, a day to express your creativity. The day lays out a challenge to make
your mark on the world, even if that mark is simply a dot, and see how it
changes and where it takes you. Walt made his mark and you can enjoy it anywhere
on the massive Disney property.
William Howard Taft
was born on this day in 1857. Taft was the 27th President of the
United States and the only person to serve as President and, later, Chief
Justice of the United States. Honor President Taft by visiting The Hall of the
Presidents at The Magic Kingdom. You’re not surprised, are you?
1961: Dan Marino was
born in Pennsylvania. Dan was part of an impressive class of quarterbacks in
1983. Even though he never won a Super Bowl, he is considered to be one of the
greatest quarterbacks in the history of the game. It doesn’t hurt that he
played his entire pro career for my favorite team, The Miami Dolphins. Visit
the ESPN club on The Boardwalk and try to forget that Dan made that movie with
Ace Ventura.
Remember, your best
excuse is always: waiting for your dreams to come true.
