Today is Hug Your Boss Day.
I am not going to work tomorrow and hugging Mr. Castle. He’s a good guy but
it’s not going to happen. However, if you work at Walt Disney World, you can
hug Mickey any time you see him. It’s okay.
Keith Moon was born on this
day in 1947. Keith was the flamboyant, larger than life drummer for The Who.
Keith played hard, lived hard and died young, probably seeming much older than
he actually was. Keith appears on the back cover of the last album he played on
in a chair that has “Do Not Remove” spray painted across the backrest. It’s a
shame the same didn’t apply to him. I saw The Who later, with Kenny Jones on
drums, they were great but I would have loved to see Keith. Go listen to the
British Revolution at EPCOT and relive the glory days of the British Invasion.
Remember, your best excuse
is always: waiting for your dreams to come true.
