February 11 becomes a
bit sadder for our family at Louisa Middle School with the passing of Emma
Carol Cecil, the mother of our assistant principal, and good friend, Joe Cecil.
Visitation continues this evening and services are 1:00 PM, Tuesday at the C. W.
Call Funeral Home in Pike County, Kentucky. God bless the Cecils.
Talk about contrasts,
from sad to insane. Our first excuse for visiting Walt Disney World started as
a very serious, dramatic actor. He appeared in a couple of Disney items
including the mini-series Swamp Fox and
as narrator for The Boy Who Flew with
Condors. But this man will always be Lt. Frank Drebin of Police Squad and The Naked Gun movies. Leslie Nielsen was born on this day in 1926
in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. I have laughed so hard at Leslie Nielsen that
my head hurt for hours. No kidding, he was so funny he almost killed me.
Surely, you can find something funny at WDW to enjoy to honor Leslie Nielsen. I
know you can, and don’t call me Shirley.
There are plenty of funny characters at WDW.
Today is National Make a Friend Day. We have made many friends at WDW and
we have been to WDW with many friends. It’s a friendly place. Tamara took care
of us at Columbia Harbor House, Lee took care of us in Frontierland and EPCOT,
Bill took care of us at Animal Kingdom, Bill the Waiter took care of us at
Hollywood and Vine, Scary Gary took care of us at Tower of Terror, Conductor
Brittany is a longtime friend and we all take care of each other. Go to WDW and
make a friend.
Friends: Lee, Austin, Brittany, Allison, Bill & Matt
This is also Peppermint Patty Day. Now, I’m not crazy about peppermint
patties but I do like candy and whatever candy you like you can find at WDW.
Get to Goofy’s Candy Company or find some of his product in shops around WDW.
You’ll be glad you did.
candy
CANDY!!!
Remember, your best
excuse is always: waiting for your dreams to come true.
